How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity from September 2026?

    We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from the start of the new academic year.

    The Role

    As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

    Teach a KS1 class and deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons.

    Plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.

    Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.

    Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The school is looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher who:

    Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    Has proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

    *

    Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment expectations.

    *

    Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.

    *

    Is passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences.

    *

    Can build positive relationships with pupils and create a nurturing classroom environment.

    *

    Is committed to supporting every child to achieve their best.

    Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs. Applicants must have previous KS1 teaching experience.
