How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

    We're working with a leading and well-respected air conditioning specialist contractor to recruit a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its engineers, with a dedicated in-house training facility, ongoing technical development, and genuine opportunities to progress your career. You'll be joining a highly experienced team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, with the support of a company known for delivering high-quality work and looking after its engineers.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of their mobile service team, carrying out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of commercial air conditioning systems.

    The role:

    You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing commercial air conditioning equipment across a variety of customer sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

    Service, maintenance, breakdowns, fault-finding and diagnostics on commercial air conditioning systems
    Working on DX systems, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs and split systems
    Covering commercial sites across London and surrounding areas
    Mobile role with a company van providedWhat you'll need:

    City & Guilds Level 2 F Gas and ODS Regulations (Cat 1) (2079)
    Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems
    Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
    Full UK driving licence
    Good attitude and ability to work well within a teamThe successful Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer will be on up to £50,000, depending on experience + Company Van + In-House Training + Career Progression + Package.
