How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Reception Class
    Redbridge | September 2026 Start | £95-£100 per day PAYE

    Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Redbridge, which is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

    This full-time role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Reception who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff to ensure the child can access learning opportunities, develop confidence and make excellent progress within the classroom environment.

    The position is based within a nurturing Reception class and will primarily involve supporting the pupil throughout the mornings. The school is looking for a patient, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support tailored to the child's individual needs.

    Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable. Candidates who have supported pupils with EHCPs, Autism, speech and language needs or other additional learning needs will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.     The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

    Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
    Be confident providing 1:1 support within a classroom setting.
    Demonstrate patience, empathy and strong communication skills.
