How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a meticulous and organised Supply Planner to join a leading team within the FMCG industry. This role, based in Bristol, will focus on ensuring the efficient management of inventory and supply chain processes to meet business demands.

    Description

    Develop and maintain accurate supply plans to meet customer demand efficiently.
    Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages or surpluses.
    Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply-related issues.
    Analyse sales forecasts and trends to optimise stock levels and reduce waste.
    Maintain accurate records of inventory and supply chain activities.
    Prepare reports and provide insights to support decision-making within the procurement & supply chain department.
    Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain process.
    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory and procurement practices.Profile

    A successful Supply Planner should have:

    Proven experience in supply planning or a similar role within the FMCG industry.
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate forecasting and reporting.
    Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
    A solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
