How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in Production Arts to join the Berkshire College of Agriculture on a permanent, part time basis. This is a 0.6 position working Monday, Tuesday and Friday. The salary for this role ranges from £18,979.80 (T1) up to £27,204.60 (T1), which is dependent on experience and qualifications and based on a full time equivalent of £31,633 (T1) up to £45,341 (T11).

    Please note the expected dates for this role are Wednesday, 19th August 2026 until July 2027.

    Lecturer – Production Arts (0.6)

    As a Lecturer in Production Arts, you will play a rewarding role in delivering high quality, engaging teaching that inspires student growth and ensures successful course completion. In this role, you will create dynamic lessons, closely monitor student progress through Individual Learning Plans and guide them confidently through the assessment process. Your practical expertise will be crucial in supporting hands on learning, including drilling, sawing and using specialist equipment, while your leadership will foster a lively classroom atmosphere with strong attendance. Crucially, you will take the lead on the Level 2 Production Arts UAL course, driving the design of assignment briefs, marking and assessment.

    We are looking for an inspiring educator with a relevant degree or substantial industry experience, who either holds a teaching qualification or is eager to pursue one. A minimum Level 2 in English and Maths is essential for this role. If you have proven teaching experience alongside strong organisational and communication skills and can thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.
