Nursery Manager required in Romford

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming 60-place nursery for an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident childcare professional to lead a dedicated team, maintain high standards of care and education, and support the continued success of the nursery.

Salary: £45,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
Support, motivate and develop the nursery team, promoting best practice and high-quality childcare.
Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.
Oversee planning, assessment and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, staff and external professionals.
Manage occupancy, staffing, budgets and nursery resources effectively.
Promote a positive, inclusive culture where children and staff can thrive.

About You

The successful candidate will have previous nursery management experience, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent outcomes for children. A relevant childcare qualification and a sound understanding of early years standards and safeguarding expectations are essential.
