How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Provide outstanding HR consultancy support to managers and business owners via telephone, email and virtual meetings, responding to queries and coaching clients in a timely, friendly and professional manner with close attention to detail.

    • Undertake and manage a variety of employee relations cases and HR project work in a planned, organised and systematic way, ensuring advice provided is accurate, commercially focused and best serves the client.

    • Support clients with change management and restructuring projects, including redundancy consultations and TUPE processes.

    • Produce high-quality letters, forms, templates, policies, procedures, structures and HR documentation to support clients with their HR and employment law needs.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, casework and project activity on the CRM and internal systems.

    • Work collaboratively with HR Advisors and wider colleagues to deliver an exceptional client service experience.

    • Prepare content and deliver practical HR and employment law training sessions, learning lunches and presentations for clients, prospects and internal colleagues.

    • Develop and maintain strong, credible working relationships with clients by understanding their needs and developing tailored HR solutions.

    • Write blogs, articles and newsletter content on employment law and HR topics to support client engagement and showcase expertise.

    • Occasionally attend client meetings and events where travel may be required.

    Required qualifications & skills:

    * Significant demonstrable experience of working in a similar Senior HR Advisor or HR Consultant position is essential

    * Demonstrable knowledge of HR and employment law and experience of managing volume of employee relations casework in particular TUPE and redundancy

    * Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills

    * Comfortable working in smaller business environments in a collaborative manner
