The Role
Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Prepare pupils effectively for the transition to secondary school and end-of-key-stage assessments
Work closely with parallel class teachers and support staff to ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Committed to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for pupils
A positive team player who is keen to contribute to school life
