Plant Operative – Nocton, Lincolnshire – £35,000 - £37,000
Plant Operative Key Responsibilities:
* Support the day-to-day operation of the processing plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime.
* Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance and basic repairs on plant equipment.
* Monitor plant performance using control systems and respond to operational issues or alarms.
* Assist with material handling, loading activities and process monitoring.
* Complete operational records, inspections and reports while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Skills & Experience Required as a Plant Operative:
* Previous experience within a plant, production, agricultural, industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environment.
* Mechanical or electrical knowledge would be highly advantageous.
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
* Good IT skills and the ability to interpret operational data.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, including participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
