How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 3 Teacher - September Start
    Full-Time | Temporary Contract (1 Term) | London Fringe MPS £34,397 - £52,488

    Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary academy in Hertfordshire, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, one-term temporary contract.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced school with a strong focus on nurturing every child's potential. The school prides itself on its supportive leadership team, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing a high-quality education within a caring and collaborative environment.

    The successful candidate will take responsibility for a small Year 3 class and will benefit from the support of both a Teaching Assistant (TA) and a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) within the classroom. The class includes pupils with additional needs, and therefore experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Global Developmental Delay, is essential.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
    Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism and Global Developmental Delay
    Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning effectively
    A nurturing, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching
    Excellent communication and teamwork skillsThe school offers:
