ASC Connections are currently recruiting for a Powder Coating / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on position combining production support with warehouse duties, including operating a Bendi (Flexi) forklift truck. The role would suit someone reliable, physically fit, and confident following detailed instructions.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Flexibility is essential - hours and shifts may vary depending on business needs, including weekend work
Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting powder coating and production operations
Operating a Bendi FLT to move stock and materials
Loading, unloading, and organising goods within the warehouse
Following written instructions, including carrying out basic calculations
Handling products and materials (involving regular heavy lifting)
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For:
Valid, in-date Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Licence
Good English and Maths skills
Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately
Physically fit and capable of heavy and repetitive lifting
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work well within a team
Flexible approach to working hours
What's On Offer:
Starting pay of £12.71 per hour
Pay review after successful 12-week probation
Excellent overtime rates (up to double time on Sundays!)
Early finish every Friday
