The role

We are looking for a technically strong part or recently qualified Financial Accountant to join our London based team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, growing business in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

Support the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reporting

*

Intercompany reconciliations

*

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review

*

Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

*

Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support the wider finance team

*

Provide year-end support, including reconciliations, schedules, and documentation

*

Assist in the annual audit including review of the statutory accounts and tax returns

*

Identify and implement opportunities to enhance process efficiency, quality, and value

*

Regulatory reporting for external stakeholders.

Requirements:

*

Relevant experience in a similar Financial Accountant or Assistant Accountant role

*

Experience with accounting software and financial systems

*

VAT experience

*

High attention to detail

*

A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

*

Collaborative approach, working as part of a wider finance team

*

Studying towards a relevant accounting qualification.
