The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences
Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
Support children with additional learning needs when required
Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentAssignments may include:
General classroom support
SEN Teaching Assistant roles
Intervention support
Behaviour support positions
Long-term Teaching Assistant placements
Daily supply cover
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting
A positive and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Relevant qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning are desirable but not essential.
