How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Quality Manager (Construction / Civils / Rail / Stations)

    Location: London (Hybrid)
    Salary: Up to £69,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
    Contract Type: Permanent

    The Opportunity

    Bryan & Armstrong are supporting the recruitment of a Quality Manager to join a major infrastructure programme, supporting the delivery of complex station and rail systems projects.

    Working within a high-profile programme environment, you will provide quality leadership and assurance across project delivery teams and the wider supply chain, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with required standards and procedures.

    This role offers the opportunity to influence quality performance on some of the UK's most complex station developments and rail infrastructure projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Monitor contractor and supply chain compliance against quality requirements.

    * Undertake quality audits, surveillances and assurance activities.

    * Review contractor quality documentation and management plans.

    * Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice sharing.

    * Analyse quality trends, NCRs and defects to identify root causes and improvement actions.

    * Support project teams in improving quality performance and acceptance rates.

    * Provide quality expertise and guidance to project stakeholders.

    * Promote a strong quality culture throughout delivery teams.

    About You

    * Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.

    * IRCA Approved ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.

    * Experience within rail, stations, major projects or infrastructure environments.

    * Strong knowledge of quality management systems and assurance processes.

    * Experience delivering audits and quality improvement initiatives.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
