How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description:

    Site Manager – New Build Residential

    Colwyn Bay
    Approx. £50,000 per annum (Subcontractor Basis) – Negotiable DOE
    Immediate Start | 12-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)

    We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for an immediate-start role on a new-build residential development in Colwyn Bay.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager to lead a quality residential project, with the potential for the contract to be extended beyond the initial 12 months.

    The Role

    As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Oversee all on-site operations from start to completion.

    * Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site personnel.

    * Monitor progress against programme and ensure key milestones are achieved.

    * Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

    * Carry out quality inspections and ensure work meets required specifications.

    * Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management.

    * Manage site documentation, records, and reporting.

    Requirements

    * Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential new-build developments.

    * Strong leadership and organisational skills.

    * Excellent knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.

    * Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project programmes.

    * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certificates.

    * Full UK driving licence preferred.
