We're looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer š”ļøš§ to join a leading Facilities Management company, supporting a large and technically diverse estate in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex environment, maintaining a wide range of building services systems while developing your skills within a highly professional engineering team.
This role is ideal for engineers with strong fault-finding abilities and experience working within commercial maintenance, facilities management, healthcare, education, or large-scale estates. š¢āļø
š§ What you'll be doing:
āļø Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems š§
āļø Diagnosing and repairing faults on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated mechanical plant š¬ļøāļøš„
āļø Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and BMS-controlled equipment āļø
āļø Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations š¦ŗ
āļø Supporting ongoing improvement and maintenance projects across the estate š
āļø Accurately updating maintenance records using the CAFM system š»
āļø Delivering a high standard of service and maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and stakeholders š¤
š· What we're looking for:
ā Essential:
* Recognised Mechanical or HVAC qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or equivalent) š
* Previous experience within Facilities Management, commercial maintenance, healthcare, education, or large-scale estates š¢
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills š
* Experience maintaining complex HVAC and mechanical systems āļø
* Proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities š¬
ā Desirable:
* Experience working on large or technically challenging sites šļø
* Knowledge of CAFM systems š»
* Understanding of BMS-controlled equipment and associated building services systems š”ļø
