SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a 3-form entry junior school in the borough of Havering (Romford). They are seeking a teaching assistant (Autism/SEN) to join their wonderful and inclusive school!
This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to drastically improve the social and educational outcomes of young people with Autism.
The role will be a 1- year contract for the full academic year- September 2026 to July 2027.
About you:
You will have experience as a teaching assistant (or similar position) supporting Autism and/or special educational needs (SEN).
You will be patient and calm in your approach to supporting children
You will possess excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
You will be committed to equity and inclusion
You will have a solid understanding of sensory processing differences, communication needs, and social challenges of children with Autism
