The role

We are seeking a purchase ledger assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume SME environment processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities:

* Process high volumes of supplier invoices and manage AP inbox

* Reconciliation of supplier statements

* Set up new suppliers on the finance system

* Prepare and process supplier payment runs and ad-hoc payments

* Post payments to finance system in a timely manner and match against invoices.

Requirements:

* Previous accounts payable experience desirable

* Confident communicator

* Basic Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems

* DB Capture experience would be beneficial.
