How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Production Operator with FLT Counterbalance Licence
    Recruit are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our client production team and contribute to delivering exceptional product quality, safety, and efficiency.
    The site focuses on recycling post-consumer plastics and producing high-quality recycled plastic granules used within sustainable manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business committed to environmental responsibility, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
    Pay Rate £14.00 - £14.50 per hour
    Shifts and Hours
    * 44 hours over 4 days per week (12 hours shifts including both days & nights)
    * 1 hour unpaid break
    * Flexibility required during non-production weeks.
    * No weekends (May change as the business develops)
    Key Responsibilities
    * Assist the Production Manager in ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Product Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
    * Operate Erema pelletizing machinery (full training provided).
    * Support team members in meeting production targets and improving operational efficiency.
    * Proactively contribute to the development of individual and team objectives.
    * Promote cross-training and flexibility across the production department.
    * Perform duties safely and in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, making improvement recommendations when needed.
    * Immediately report any product quality or safety concerns to the Production Manager

    * Valid Counterbalance Certificate (Essential)
