How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Nursing Home Manager
    £75,000 per annum - DOE 
    Liverpool

    Meridian Business Support is delighted to be partnering with a leading national healthcare provider to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a large nursing home in Liverpool.

    The Role

    As Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, operational management, and commercial performance of the home. You will be empowered to create a positive culture, deliver exceptional resident outcomes, and ensure the service operates to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide inspirational leadership to the home's staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, dignity, and person-centred care.
    Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team committed to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
    Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining excellent standards and driving continuous improvement.
    Manage budgets effectively, achieving financial targets while maintaining exceptional care quality.
    Develop local business relationships and implement marketing initiatives to support occupancy growth and enhance the home's reputation.
    Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
    Ensure all governance, quality assurance, and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
    Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
    Promote a safe, secure, and positive environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

    Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within a nursing home environment.
    A strong understanding of CQC regulations and a proven history of achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
    A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
    The ability to drive service improvement and support future growth opportunities.Qualifications
    NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
    Relevant management qualifications are advantageous.What's on Offer?
