How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Multi-skilled Engineer

    Tamworth (Commutable: Birmingham, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Nuneaton, Coventry, Leicester, Coalville, Redditch, Cannock, Burton-upon-Trent, West Midlands)

    £38,000 + (£45,000 OTE) + Full Training + Progression + Overtime + Benefits

    Do you have any Engineering qualifications looking to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment where full training will be provided across Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics?

    On offer is a highly varied role for a nationally renowned business allowing you to progress your career and receive a range of benefits to maximise your earnings.

    This is a highly prestige facility within the Events / Hospitality sector. This role is due to increase growth and new machinery within the business.

    This role requires flexible hours across an Early Shift and Back Shift (7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm). You will perform maintenance and repair on Electro-mechanical machinery including a range of future focused control systems.

    The ideal candidate would have any Mechanical and Electrical experience, looking to further develop technically whilst working in a prestige and exciting environment.

    The Role:

    Maintenance, Fault finding and Diagnosing a range of machinery.
    Mechanical systems, Plant equipment and Control systems.
    7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm (Monday - Friday).
    Occasional weekend work (enhanced rates).

    The Person:

    Mechanical or Electrical qualifications.
    Located near Staffordshire.
