Supporting the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of all kitchen operations across:
Raceday hospitality
Conferences & events
Banqueting & private functions
Non-raceday catering activityYou’ll help lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver outstanding food quality, exceptional presentation and memorable guest experiences across every service.

What You'll Do:
Support the delivery of exceptional food across racedays, hospitality suites, conferences, banquets and private events
Assist the Head Chef in leading day-to-day kitchen operations within a busy, fast-paced environment
Prepare and present high-quality dishes to consistently high standards of taste and presentation
Lead, motivate and support casual and permanent kitchen team members during service
Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and company standards at all times
Help create innovative seasonal menus and fresh event catering concepts
Maintain strong organisation and efficiency during high-volume service periods
Build positive relationships with colleagues across culinary, front-of-house and venue teams
Support stock control, food ordering and minimising waste to achieve cost targets
Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork, creativity and guest satisfaction

What You Bring:
Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality, events or banqueting kitchen
Experience within stadia, racecourse, hotel or event catering operations (preferred)
A passion for fresh food, creativity and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong leadership and organisational skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent communication and team-working abilities
Good knowledge of food safety and compliance standards
Relevant culinary and food safety qualifications What we offer:
