How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Workshop Recruitment is supporting a successful and growing business in North Baddesley in the search for a proactive Customer Support Advisor to join their customer service team on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping customers, resolving enquiries, and delivering a first-class service experience.

    The successful Customer Support Advisor will manage customer enquiries across multiple communication channels, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Respond to customer enquiries through phone, email, text support, social media, and digital ticketing systems
    Deliver accurate and professional solutions to customer queries
    Process returns, exchanges, and customer requests in line with company procedures
    Update and maintain customer records accurately
    Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues quickly
    Support continuous improvements in customer satisfaction and service delivery
    Ensure all enquiries are managed within agreed service levels

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role
    Strong communication skills across multiple channels
    Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
    Ability to follow processes accurately and consistently
    Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude
    Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    Confident using computer systems and digital platforms

    Additional Information

    37.5 hours per week
    Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
    1 in 4 weekends worked from home (with Monday and Tuesday off in lieu)
    Office-based role in North Baddesley
    Free parking, refreshments, and casual dress environment
