How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A growing renewables distribution business is looking for a Customer Service Transport & Logistics Coordinator to join their busy team at their Middlesbrough location. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, transport coordination or customer service who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

    You'll be joining a specialist renewables division within a national £1.7 billion group of electrical distribution companies. The business is dedicated to delivering sustainable electrical solutions that drive positive change for our planet and has built a strong reputation for service, reliability and customer support.

    As a Customer Service Transport & Logistics Coordinator, you will:

    Coordinate and book transport for customer deliveries
    Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing delivery updates and resolving queries
    Liaise with transport providers, warehouses and internal teams to ensure deliveries run smoothly
    Monitor deliveries and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers
    Handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails relating to delivery schedules and order status
    Investigate and resolve delivery-related problems quickly and professionally
    Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transport bookings and customer communications
    Support the sales team by managing delivery enquiries and providing excellent customer serviceRequirements

    To be successful in this Customer Service Transport & Logistics Coordinator role, you should have:

    Experience within logistics customer service, transport coordination or a similar role
    Excellent communication and customer service skills
    Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
    Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office
