How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teacher – Full Time | Primary School | Romford 

    September Start | Long-Term Opportunity

    A welcoming and well-established Primary school in Romford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September.

    About the Role

    As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will be working with motivated pupils at an important stage in their learning journey, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations.

    The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom while maintaining a calm and supportive learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
    Supporting pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development
    Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
    Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
    Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
    Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
    Contributing to the wider life of the school

    The Ideal Candidate

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
    Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
    A confident, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    A genuine passion for primary education and pupil development
