I am seeking an experienced Senior IT Engagement Manager to join a major HMRC delivery programme, leading complex technology projects within one of the UK's largest and most high-profile public sector environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior project delivery professional with a proven track record of leading large-scale IT and digital transformation programmes, managing senior stakeholders, and driving successful outcomes across complex multi-supplier environments.
Responsibilities:
Leading end-to-end delivery of large and complex IT programmes and projects
Managing multi-disciplinary and multi-supplier delivery teams within matrix environments
Driving programme governance, planning, risk management, and delivery performance
Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and delivery partners
Managing budgets, forecasting, commercial performance, and change control
Championing agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring successful delivery against scope, budget, quality, and timeline commitments
Expereince required:
Extensive experience delivering large-scale IT and technology programmes
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse delivery teams
Proven stakeholder management experience at senior executive level
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and project lifecycle management
Experience managing programme finances, forecasting, budgets, and commercial delivery
Excellent risk, dependency, and issue management capabilities
Previous experience delivering within government or highly regulated environments is advantageous
