3 Month (Minimum) Contract

💼 £42,000 – £55,000 (pro rata)
We are working with a well-established international organisation with a strong presence in the Northeast, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic, commercially focused environment, supporting key financial processes and delivering high-quality insights to stakeholders.
The Role
* Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities, including:
* Production of monthly management accounts with commentary
* Variance analysis and performance reporting
* Budgeting and forecasting support
* Business partnering with operational stakeholders
* Balance sheet reconciliations and ledger reviews
* Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
About You
* We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who can hit the ground running:
* Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
* Strong experience in management accounting within a commercial environment
* Advanced Excel skills (essential)
* Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI (highly desirable)
* Exposure to ERP systems (experience with niche/less common systems beneficial)
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
