How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role Overview

A utility/infrastructure organisation is seeking Programme Integration Specialists to support the delivery of large-scale energy transmission and infrastructure projects as part of a major strategic investment programme.

The role focuses on integrating and managing complex construction programmes across multiple work packages, ensuring effective coordination between design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and supply chain activities. The position works closely with project management, planning, commercial, and contractor teams to optimise delivery schedules and manage programme risks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead programme integration activities across multiple project workstreams and contractors.
    • Support planning teams in developing and maintaining integrated construction schedules.
    • Ensure interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities are identified and managed effectively.
    • Review and challenge contractor programmes and digital construction simulations (4D planning).
    • Support contract administration and programme compliance under NEC-style contracts.
    • Assess programme risks, change impacts, delays, and opportunities to improve delivery schedules.
    • Collaborate with project managers, planners, commercial teams, site teams, and supply chain partners to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Provide programme performance analysis, reporting, and critical path optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.

    Required Experience & Skills

    • Significant experience delivering major infrastructure, energy, or construction projects within a multi-contractor environment.
    • Background in planning, construction management, interface management, or a related project delivery discipline.
    • Strong proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
    • Experience reviewing programme impacts, delays, change events, and contractor claims within NEC-based contract frameworks.
    • Strong understanding of pre-construction and construction delivery phases for complex industrial, infrastructure, or building projects.
    • Ability to manage interfaces across engineering, civil, building, and specialist contractor packages.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

An experienced programme or construction professional with expertise in integrated planning, interface management, and major project delivery. The successful candidate will combine strong technical scheduling knowledge with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage contractual programme requirements, and drive efficient delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
