How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Hillington / Livingston 

    Employment type: Full Time Permanent

    Salary: Will also include a car or car allowance

    About the role…

    You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Scotland business, with a focus on developing and securing opportunities across the Roads and Infrastructure sectors.

    The role holder will drive sales growth, market positioning and customer engagement to develop the regional offering, contributing to the achievement of financial targets and the overall success of the business.

    The role holder will utilise and strengthen existing client relationships and industry networks within the Scotland roads sector to generate sustainable business opportunities and support long-term growth.

    The role holder will identify, develop and convert opportunities with existing and prospective customers, building a resilient pipeline and order book for the business.

    The role holder will work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure opportunities are effectively transitioned from sales through to successful delivery.

    The role holder will support the development and execution of the Scotland regional growth strategy through proactive business development and customer engagement activities.

    Responsible for maintaining a strong market presence and promoting the business capability across the Roads and Infrastructure sectors.

    To contribute to the delivery of the division’s Full Potential Plan (FPP).

    As a Client Services Manager you will…

    To support the delivery of the growth strategy and business objectives for the Scotland division.

    To develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with existing and prospective clients across the Roads and Infrastructure sectors.

    To utilise established industry relationships and customer networks to identify and secure new business opportunities.

    To support the growth of the regional customer base and increase market presence within Scotland.

    To develop and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities to support sustainable revenue growth.

    To use the CRM system to accurately record and manage all leads, live opportunities, customer interactions and pipeline activities.

    To work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure successful mobilisation and delivery of secured works.

    To support the preparation, coordination and submission of tenders, proposals and framework opportunities.

    To monitor market activity, customer requirements and competitor positioning to identify growth opportunities.

    To support the development of strategic account plans for key customers and framework partners.

    To monitor and report on sales performance KPIs and pipeline activity.

    To represent the business professionally within the industry, promoting the brand and developing long-term customer relationships.

    To work collaboratively with the wider Water & Infrastructure business to maximise cross-selling opportunities and operational efficiency.

    About you…

    Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation.

    Good client links in the wastewater and drainage sectors.

    Detailed knowledge of current techniques used within the sectors, i.e CCTV Inspections, Jetting, Tankering, Lining etc..

    Previous wastewater and drainage services sales experience essential.
