Role Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a full-time, on-site role based in Middlesbrough. The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. The Mechanical Fitter will work collaboratively with the engineering team to uphold operational standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience with Fitting and Machinery operations
- Proficiency in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Experience within heavy industry is advantageous
