How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're looking for a Product Designer to join the team at Pastest. This role is ideal for someone at the very start of their career who's hungry to learn, improve quickly, and build strong product design foundations in the right environment.

You won’t be expected to arrive with years of experience or have everything figured out already. What matters more is curiosity, attention to detail, initiative, and a genuine desire to become excellent at the craft.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Product across product design and delivery. His background is in Product Design, and he leads strategy, process, and discovery across the team. That means you’ll get exposure not just to interface design work, but also to how strong product decisions get made, shaped, prioritised, and validated.

The majority of your day-to-day work will focus on delivery: designing polished UI, contributing to our design system, and helping turn shaped product ideas into thoughtful, production-ready experiences.

But beyond that, you’ll also get the opportunity to be involved in discovery and shaping work, learning how to think about problems properly before jumping into solutions.

Alongside product work, we’d also like this person to support the marketing team with design requirements where needed. That could include campaign assets, social content, graphics for email communications, and other digital brand touchpoints. We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop across both product and visual design work.

    What you’ll be doing:

    •  Designing clean, thoughtful product UI across new and existing features

    •  Contributing to and evolving our design system

    •  Taking shaped ideas and turning them into high-quality, usable product experiences

    •  Working closely with product and engineering throughout delivery

    •  Helping improve consistency, clarity, and usability across the platform

    •  Supporting discovery work and learning how product opportunities are researched, validated, and shaped

    •  Supporting the marketing team with design work across campaigns, social content, email graphics, and other digital touchpoints where needed

    What you’ll learn:

This role is designed to help someone grow quickly. You’ll gain exposure to:

    •  Product thinking and decision-making

    •  Discovery and validation

    •  Design systems and scalable UI

    •  Working in a modern product team

    •  Product strategy and prioritisation

    •  Strong delivery processes and ways of working

    •  Collaboration across product, design, engineering, and marketing

You’ll see how ideas move from ambiguity through shaping into delivery, and how good product teams balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

    What we’re looking for:

    •  Someone early in their design career with strong potential

    •  A genuine interest in product design and technology

    •  Strong attention to detail and care for visual quality

    •  Excitement around UI and interaction design

    •  An interest in both product and visual design, with an eye for consistency across product and marketing experiences

    •  A willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly

    •  Curiosity about how products work and why decisions get made

    •  A portfolio or examples of work are essential. They don’t need to be polished commercial projects, but we do want to see evidence that you genuinely enjoy design enough to create, explore, and practise outside of formal education or coursework

    •

    •

    •  You’ll probably enjoy this role if:

    •

    •  You want mentorship and high standards

    •  You’re ambitious and want to improve fast

    •  You enjoy refining details and making products feel intuitive and coherent

    •  You care about craft, not just aesthetics

    •  You enjoy a mix of product, UI, and broader digital design work rather than being boxed into one narrow area

    •  You want exposure to both delivery and product thinking

    •  You’d rather work closely with experienced people than disappear into a huge company doing isolated production work

For the right person, this is the kind of role that can accelerate the start of a product design career.

You’ll work on real product problems, contribute to meaningful work from the beginning, and develop alongside people who care deeply about product quality, clear thinking, and continuous improvement.
