How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HR Advisor | 12-Month FTC | Hybrid Working (1 Day WFH) | Salary > £38K


    Elevation Recruitment Group's HR Division are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.


    This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys managing a busy Employee Relations caseload while working in a true generalist HR role.


    You'll partner closely with managers across the business, providing practical and commercially focused HR support on a wide range of people matters. The role offers significant exposure to ER, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and change cases, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing a high-volume Employee Relations caseload from start to finish
    • Advising and coaching managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and change management processes
    • Leading on long-term absence and occupational health cases
    • Acting as a trusted HR partner to managers across the business
    • Supporting HR projects, people initiatives and continuous improvement activities
    • Producing and analysing HR metrics to identify trends and support decision-making
    • Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation


    About You

    • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR role
    • Strong Employee Relations experience with confidence managing complex and high-volume casework
    • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
