A leading consumer brand is looking for a commercially-minded Demand Planner to join its high-performing Supply Chain team. This is a business-critical role where you'll act as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring the business has the right products in the right place at the right time to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
You'll work closely with commercial teams to understand customer demand, promotional activity, and growth opportunities, transforming market insights into accurate forecasts that directly impact sales performance. As a key contributor to the S&OP process, you'll have real influence on business decisions, helping to drive availability, minimise risk, improve service levels, and support ambitious growth plans across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple product categories.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand market activity, promotions, and future demand trends.
- Analyse forecast performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and service levels.
- Lead regular forecasting and demand review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Support and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Monitor inventory performance and work cross-functionally to optimise stock levels.
- Manage volume budgets and demand planning data within forecasting systems.
- Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to align forecasts for both baseline and promotional activity.
- Produce insightful reporting and recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across forecasting and supply chain processes.
About You
- 2+ years experience in Demand Planning within an FMCG or Consumer Goods environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience working within an S&OP environment.
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using forecasting/planning systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by continuous improvement.
