Production Supervisor

£40,000 + shift allowance
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business based in Rotherham.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving performance, quality, safety and engagement across a busy production operation. You'll lead a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved whilst maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities of the Production Supervisor role include:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives
- Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures
- Monitor production performance, output and efficiency against KPIs
- Manage staffing levels, labour allocation and resource planning
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and customer requirements are met
- Conduct performance reviews, training and coaching activities
We’re looking for Production Supervisors with the below skills & experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within manufacturing
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive performance and improve operational efficiency
- Experience working within a KPI-driven environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage and develop teams
- Continuous improvement experience would be advantageous
