How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

    £53,000 - £63,000 + Bonus Scheme + Excellent Benefits

    Sutton, South London (Commutable from Wimbledon, Purley, Croydon, Epsom, Streatham, Clapham)

    Are you a Supervisor / Manager with an Electrical background, looking to take the next step in your career working for an international company in a highly autonomous role?

    In this role, you will manage your own team of highly skilled engineers, whilst working in a well-equipped facility. Further progression is on offer.

    This company specialises in a nice industry. As demand grows, they are looking to expand their engineering team.

    In this leadership position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the engineering function operates effectively. You will oversee a close-knit team, manage planned maintenance activities, and ensure the safe and efficient running of site equipment, including electrical pumps and motors. Any health and safety experience would be highly beneficial.

    This role is ideal for Supervisor / Manager with an Electrical background, from a Manufacturing, Industrial or Plant setting, who is looking to take the next step in their career managing their own team, whilst working for a market leader in a niche industry.
