How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Customer Service Operations Support Analyst

    Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE27 0QW
    Contract: Fixed-term (1 July 2026 - 30 June 2027)
    Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to friday
    Pay Rate: £15.00 - £19.74 per hour (depending on experience)

    About the Role

    We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Customer Service Operations Support Analyst to join our Customer Service Operations team. This role sits within a multi-skilled environment and requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a high degree of initiative.

    You will play a key role in supporting operational processes, ensuring accuracy, and delivering excellent service both internally and externally.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide day-to-day operational support within the Customer Service Operations department
    Manage and maintain data across systems with a high level of accuracy
    Support business processes using tools such as SAP, Outlook and Microsoft Office
    Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (both written and verbal)
    Identify issues and proactively resolve problems using sound judgement
    Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently, right first time
    Collaborate closely with colleagues to support continuous improvement

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
    Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    Excellent communication and coordination skills
    High level of attention to detail and accuracy
    Strong organisation and follow-up skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Problem-solving mindset with initiative

    Desirable Skills

    Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting)
    Experience with PEGA solutions
    Basic knowledge of SAP systems
