We're on the hunt for a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join a busy engineering team, working on high-quality machinery. This role mixes workshop work with on-site installation and commissioning, including travel.
What You'll Be Doing:
Mechanical assembly and build of general machinery
Pneumatic panel and machine assembly
Small fabrication tasks - welding, burning, drilling
Machine testing and troubleshooting
Installation and commissioning on-site (national & international travel ~6 weeks/year)
What You Bring:
Strong mechanical and pneumatic assembly skills
Experience with transmission drives and structural assemblies
Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge is a bonus
Hands-on attitude and attention to detail
Previous experience in a workshop or industrial environment
