At Tarmac, we’re looking for a high-performing National Key Account Manager to take ownership of two of our most strategic customer relationships – Travis Perkins and H&B Buying Group.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape account strategy, drive commercial growth, and deliver exceptional service, all while influencing at senior level both internally and externally.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the strategy and performance of key national accounts
Building strong, trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders
Driving growth through upselling, cross-selling and identifying new opportunities
Acting as the key link between customers and internal teams
Managing account performance, profitability and sales mix
Producing and presenting insightful reports to stakeholders
Leading demand forecasting to support operations and supply chain
Supporting pricing strategy and commercial negotiations
Ensuring first-class service delivery and resolving any issues quickly
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in key account management and sales
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth
Experience working with national or multi-site customers
Background within building materials or a related industry (preferred)
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and forecasting capability
Self-motivated, results-driven, and resilient
Key Skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong planning and organisational ability
Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Commercial awareness and customer insight
