How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As a Production Manager, you will take full accountability for delivering production performance across your area, ensuring targets relating to output, quality, cost and delivery are consistently achieved.
    This is a pivotal leadership role within the operation, requiring a strong focus on continuous improvement, people development and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and embedding a high-performance culture aligned to business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead the delivery of production targets, ensuring alignment with customer schedules and quality standards
    Drive achievement of KPIs across safety, quality, cost and delivery on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    Analyse production data and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
    Lead, coach and develop a team of Supervisors to build a high-performing, flexible workforce
    Establish and review manning requirements in line with production plans and training matrices
    Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring process effectiveness and compliance
    Promote and embed Lean manufacturing principles, including TPM, 5S and waste reduction initiatives
    Manage departmental budgets, including overtime control in line with business objectives
    Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and IATF standards
    Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Finance and Supply Chain
    Manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and engagement
    Ensure robust communication across teams to enhance engagement and operational performanceWhat We’re Looking For

    Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role
    Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) within a relevant discipline
    Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
    Demonstrated ability to drive performance within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
    Experience of Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    Good understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance within manufacturing
