Fabricator/Welder
Location: Middlesbrough
Full Time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Jackson Hogg is supporting the search for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy engineering team within a large-scale industrial and logistics environment in the North East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a coded welder or fabrication specialist looking to secure a stable full-time role with strong benefits, varied daily work, and long-term career development within heavy industry, ports, manufacturing, or industrial engineering sectors.

The Role

You will play a key part in maintaining and repairing essential assets and steel structures, ensuring operational efficiency and safety across a complex industrial site.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities in line with health and safety procedures

* Completing fabrication and welding repairs on steelwork and operational assets

* Supporting installation projects and ongoing improvement work

* Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes of recurring issues

* Completing work orders accurately and on time

* Working both independently and collaboratively with engineering teams

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship in line with industry and OEM standards

About You

We are keen to speak with skilled fabricators and welders who thrive in hands-on environments and take pride in delivering high-quality engineering work.

You will ideally have:

* A recognised engineering apprenticeship in fabrication, welding or a related trade

* At least three years of experience post-apprenticeship

* Coded welding certification with 3G MMA and supplementary fillet weld

* Strong knowledge of plant machinery and heavy industrial equipment

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* The ability to manage your own workload and support team delivery

Experience within ports logistics, heavy engineering manufacturing or similar sectors would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
