Prospero's client school is offering an excellent opportunity for a Primary‑trained teacher to work with Year 7 pupils who are following a primary‑style curriculum to support a gradual and successful transition into secondary education. The school supports pupils aged 7-16 with severe or complex needs, including SEMH needs, trauma, Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), attachment disorder, and phobia of education.

As the Primary‑trained Year 7 SEN Teacher, you will:
Teach a primary‑style curriculum to Year 7 pupils to support confidence, readiness and gradual integration into secondary pathways
Deliver core subjects through highly personalised, differentiated learning
Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including behaviours that challenge
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education
Create a structured and nurturing classroom environmentThe Details

Full UK driving licence (beneficial due to location)
QTS with Primary training or strong primary‑phase teaching experience
Experience teaching core subjects

Experience delivering primary‑style learning to older pupils
