How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Dental Receptionist

    Location: Doncaster

    A fast-growing, clinically led dental group is looking for a welcoming and organised Dental Receptionist to join its team in Doncaster.

    Founded by four clinicians who remain actively involved in the business, this is a dental brand built around doing things the right way, by putting patients first, supporting its people, and growing sustainably without compromising its values.

    Over the past 18 months, the group has expanded by five new sites across Yorkshire while continuing to build an ethical, patient-focused reputation across both NHS and private dentistry.

    The Role

    Working within a busy mixed NHS and private practice, the Dental Receptionist will play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.

    This role would suit someone who is professional, personable, highly organised, and confident managing a fast-paced front-of-house environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Welcoming NHS and private patients into the practice

    * Managing appointment bookings and diary coordination

    * Answering telephone and email enquiries

    * Handling patient payments and maintaining accurate records

    * Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team with administration

    * Managing patient communications and recalls

    * Ensuring reception and waiting areas remain professional and organised

    * Supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice

    About You

    * Previous reception or customer service experience

    * Dental reception experience preferred

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    * Organised with excellent attention to detail

    * Comfortable working in a busy mixed-practice environment

    * Friendly, professional, and patient-focused

    * Experience using dental software systems would be advantageous
