BOC Cylinder Filling Operative
Location: Morden, London  
Hours: Full-time, shift-based
 
BOC is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Cylinder Filling Operative to join its team in Morden. This role involves the safe filling, handling, inspection, and movement of gas cylinders in line with strict quality and safety standards.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for working on a busy cylinder filling site, ensuring all cylinders are filled accurately and safely. The role includes pre-fill and post-fill checks, operating filling equipment, completing records, and supporting wider plant operations when needed.
 
Key Duties
•Fill gas cylinders to company and safety standards.
• Carry out pre-fill and post-fill inspections.
• Operate filling equipment and support plant operations.
• Move, sort, and handle cylinders safely.
• Complete accurate documentation and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and compliant work area.
 
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in cylinder filling, production, warehousing, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a high focus on safety.
• Good physical fitness, as manual handling is part of the job.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a    team.
• A full driving licence may be required depending on site needs
