🧒 About the Role

We are recruiting experienced & Qualified Social Workers to join the Cannock Children in Care Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in the care of the Local Authority, ensuring their safety, stability and long-term outcomes.
You will hold case responsibility for a number of children and work closely with families, carers and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Supporting children in the care of the Local Authority
Managing a caseload of Children in Care
Working directly with children, families and carers to progress care plans
Completing and updating assessments and care planning
Working towards reunification with family where safe and appropriate
Ensuring effective and timely statutory Children in Care reviews
Acting in the best interests of children at all times
