How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A welcoming early years setting in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment where you will play a key role in helping young children build strong foundations for learning, development, and school readiness.

    This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about early years education, who enjoys creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children through their earliest stages of development.

    The Role:

    * Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework

    * Work with children aged 2–5, supporting their learning through play-based and structured activities

    * Promote children’s communication, language, personal, social, and emotional development

    * Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to support their next steps in learning

    * Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s individual needs

    * Work closely with the EYFS team to maintain high standards of care and education

    * Support daily routines including meal times, personal care, and transitions

    The Ideal Candidate:

    * Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)

    * Experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or primary school reception)

    * A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development

    * Warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children

    * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

    * Passionate about supporting children’s early learning and development

    Requirements:

    * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

    * Right to work in the UK
