A Mechanical Estimator is required for a growing building services contractor based in Coventry. This Mechanical Estimator position offers the opportunity to join a well-established team delivering industrial and commercial mechanical projects across the UK. The company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator with a strong understanding of mechanical services, cost planning, tendering, and pre-construction processes. The successful Mechanical Estimator will work closely with senior management and project delivery teams on a varied pipeline of work.

Package includes:

About the Role
As Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and commercially competitive estimates for mechanical services projects ranging from large-scale new builds through to refurbishment and maintenance works.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical installations and services projects
* Reviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
* Producing detailed cost breakdowns, quantities, and pricing schedules
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
* Working closely with project and design teams during pre-construction stages
* Assessing project risks and incorporating mitigation measures within estimates
* Supporting bid reviews and final tender submissions
* Monitoring market rates, material costs, and industry trends
* Assisting with continuous improvements to estimating systems and processes
* Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
The role will suit someone with previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or mechanical contracting. A strong understanding of pipework, HVAC, plant rooms, plumbing, and commercial mechanical installations would be highly beneficial.
Applicants should also have:
