Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Sweeper Driver to join a busy operational team in Charnwood. This is a hands-on role involving the driving and operation of specialist street sweeping vehicles to maintain cleanliness across public areas.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and operate specialised street sweeping machinery
Sweep designated road channels, footways, and public areas
Remove debris, leaves, litter, and other waste
Carry out bulky waste collections in line with contract requirements and specifications
Lead a round to ensure the safe and efficient completion of daily operations
Ensure compliance with fleet requirements, including accurately recording working hours, vehicle defects, and other compliance documentation
Maintain all relevant licences and qualifications required for the roleWhat We're Looking For
Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5T)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated and reliable
Willingness to undertake further training as required
Responsible for maintaining a valid driving licence and notifying of any changes (e.g. revocation)
