How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Then please get in touch! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Manager to join our client in the North Somerset area.

    Working for a family owned organisation that produce over 150 products nationwide across our supermarkets, this is a well respected and reputable manufaturing company at the heart of North Somerset. An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor to join the team and manage one of the engineering teams on shift.

    **Responsibilities**

    * Advocate and influence the commitment to people and safety through the development and enforcement of working practices in line with legislative, company and working procedures.

    * Manage the development and implementation of tools, techniques and technologies employed to deliver reliability focused asset care for out kit and equipment.

    * Coach and mentor others and be proactive in the delivery of the highest standard of asset care through the application of best practice, developed knowledge and technical expertise.

    * Coach others to effectively develop skills and knowledge of new processes and technologies to support sustainable asset performance.

    **Requirements**

    * Engineering management experience is essential

    * FMCG experience is essential

    * Electrical bias is essential (Ideally Automation & Control)

    **Hours**

    * Four on four off, 2 days 2 nights
