A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in the Lewisham area is looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment delivering high-quality early education to 3- and 4-year-old pupils.
About the Role
This full-time Nursery Teacher position focuses on delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences in a nursery setting. The successful candidate will contribute to a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports early development and school readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS framework standards
Create an inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and leadershipCandidate Requirements
We are seeking a teacher who:
Has strong experience or training within Early Years / EYFS
Has experience as a Nursery Teacher if possible
Can commute to the Ellesmere Port area
Demonstrates a clear understanding of child development and early learning
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
