We are seeking a diligent Vehicle Inspector / Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards, as well as maintaining cleanliness and presentation. Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues, damages, or safety concerns
* Clean and prepare vehicles to meet company standards, including washing, vacuuming, and detailing
* Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving vehicles or parts safely around the premises
* Document inspection results accurately and report any issues to supervisors
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times during vehicle handling and cleaning processes
Qualifications
* Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; previous experience in vehicle inspection or maintenance is advantageous
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive work
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
* Attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks
* Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely
* Prior experience in cleaning or detailing vehicles is desirable but not mandatory
* A valid driving licence is essential, as vehicle movement may be required.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Friday 6am-12pm. Suitable candidates must be over 21 for insurance purposes. Temp to perm
